In this, my first instal­la­tion, I recre­at­ed the expe­ri­ence of work­ing in my stu­dio on the island of Strom­boli where I had spent the sum­mer draw­ing.  One entered the piece through a small door­way –as if exit­ing from one of the 3 lit­tle hous­es- and could watch  slow­ly shift­ing views of this vol­canic island while lis­ten­ing to sounds of the sea break­ing on the rocks below.
