“Nan­cy Goldring employs a com­plex process which involves com­bin­ing draw­ings made from mem­o­ry and actu­al pho­to­graph­ic rep­re­sen­ta­tions of places she has vis­it­ed.  The results are more like mem­o­ry-scapes than doc­u­men­tary records and they sug­gest the extent to which sub­jec­tiv­i­ty and imag­i­na­tion deter­mine our sense of place.”  — Eleanor Heartney
